She wrote her first song when she was ten years old.
"I did not come from a musical family but i use to call up songs in my head and i use to dance and sing in the church and all that helped me to hold my skill and passion in music," she says.
Simi is inspired by her love for music and she released her first album in 2008, which had more of Gospel.
