6:07Now PlayingAfter years of his petitioning going unanswered, Ji Zhongxing blew himself up at the Beijing Capital International Airport, an attempted suicide bombing to protest the attack by chengguan that left him paralyzed going uncompensated. Chengguan are supposed to manage street vendors but usually act more like brutal police. There have been several instances of them killing their victims. Petitioners find their cries for help often unanswered or bringing only further suffering. Even though they have the right bring their grievances to Beijing and Zhongnanhai, local officials will do everything they can to keep them from getting there.
