6:41Now PlayingHollywood has been denying Asian actors and actresses leading roles and whitewashing movies for years. This incredible bias against Asians can be seen not only recently in movies like Pacific Rim, but also in debacles like M. Night Shyamalan's Avatar the Last Airbender, 21, Extraordinary Measures, and upcoming films like Keanu Reeve's Ronin 47. It seems like Hollywood has some belief that the American movie going public just wouldn't understand or accept an Asian actor in a leading role, unless it's a kung fu movie that is. On this episode of China Uncensored, Chris Chappell takes a look at Hollywood's bias against Asians.
