as posted by the channelThe Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance or MECA, a California nonprofit that designs K-12 curriculum material, reportedly has fiscal ties to a US-designated foreign terrorist organization.
MECA reportedly has ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine which has sent more than $31 million in aid to Palestinian territory, Iraq, and Lebanon since 1988. The nonprofit expressed its support for what happened in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. The research group that uncovered these ties between MECA and the Palestinian liberation organization is advocating that the IRS investigate and revoke MECA’s status as a nonprofit because it’s against the IRS code for a nonprofit to engage in criminal or terroristic acts.
