A mass shooting happened at a Mexico tourist pyramid… and people’s best option was to run, jump, and hope they survived.

That’s the part I can’t get past.

Not because the place was dangerous on paper.

Not because people made some reckless choice.

But because this happened at one of the most famous tourist sites in Mexico — the kind of place people go specifically because they think it’s safe.

And when it went bad, all the strict gun laws in the world didn’t matter.

Nobody there had real options.

No way to fight back.

No way to stop it.
