Armed Teens Carjackers Pointed A Gun At A Marine. Big Mistake

Armed teenage carjackers tried to steal a Marine veteran’s truck in broad daylight in Oxon Hill.

They walked up while he was working on his pickup, surrounded him, pointed a gun at his head, and demanded his keys, phone, and valuables.

A few seconds later, they were the ones on the ground — and he was the one holding the gun.

Jacob Borda says his Marine training kicked in during one split-second opening. He fought back, disarmed the teen with the gun, and his brother rushed in to help hold the suspects down until police arrived.

But this story is not a “go try this yourself” lesson.

Disarming someone with a loaded gun pointed at your head is one of the most dangerous things you can attempt. This worked because of training, timing, and a whole lot of luck.

It also exposes the lie behind “just give them what they want.”

There were four armed teenage carjackers, one gun, and one law-abiding man trying to protect himself and his family.

Maryland’s strict gun laws did not stop those teens from showing up armed.

The only person without a gun was the victim.

And now, after surviving the attack and helping stop the suspects, he’s reportedly stuck with a truck repair bill insurance won’t cover.

They picked the wrong Marine.
