Taylor is facing two counts of first-degree murder after allegedly poisoning his pregnant girlfriend, Jade Benning, resulting in the death of her and her five-month-old fetus. Prosecutors said Benning had a high level of cocaine in her system, arguing it was ingested orally after being dissolved in liquid. The defense countered that Taylor did not use drugs or alcohol and suggested Benning was the one involved in drug use.
