Hear the story of Jana Richman's motorcycle ride along the Mormon Trail in her book, "Riding in the Shadows of Saints." Growing up in a Mormon household, Jana found the church to be very oppressive and left it when she was in high school. At the time, she couldn't understand why any woman would be a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including her mother. Decades later, Jana decided to reexamine her issues with the church and learn more about the religion that played such a huge part in her childhood. Hear Richman describe the four week motorcycle ride along the Mormon Trail from Nauvoo, IL to Salt Lake City, UT riding the same trail her ancestors walked centuries before and the new understanding she developed along the way.
