45:04Now PlayingHouse Republicans nominate Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) for House Speaker, but the second-place finisher in the secret ballot, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) received almost as many votes.
And since to be elected speaker, it take an absolute majority vote of House Members, not just Republicans, a House floor vote has not yet taken place.
