Search and rescue continues for the construction workers who were on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore when it was hit by a cargo ship and collapsed into the river very early this morning. Both Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD) and President Joe Biden say indications are that this was an accident, but the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy spoke today near the crash site.
President Biden also says he is mobilizing federal resources to open the port of Baltimore as soon as possible and wants the federal government to pay to rebuild the bridge.
