1:24Now PlayingHouse Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) called his panel's Thursday deposition with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "productive" and bemoaned it took months to secure her testimony in the committee's Epstein investigation.
"Our deposition has concluded. It's a shame that it took seven months to get Ms. Clinton in. She answered most of our questions," he told reporters outside the performing arts center in Chappaqua, New York, where the interview took place.
"I think this was a productive deposition today. I think that we learned a lot," he said, adding that he hoped to release video of the deposition "within the next 24 hours."
Rep. Comer said Ms. Clinton frequently deferred questions to her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who is scheduled to testify before the panel on Friday.
"The number of times that she said, 'I don't know, you'll have to ask my husband' was more than a dozen," he said.
