C-SPAN's "Ceasefire" — Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) discusses the economy, affordability, and the political outlook for Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
"I think anytime gasoline is at four dollars, the party that is in power is going to suffer, so I don't think there's any question about that," he said.
He also argued that while more people are working in the U.S. than ever before, millions of jobs remain unfilled, saying policymakers should "move people off the government, food stamps, and other things, and move them into work."
