YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPresident Trump called former FBI Director James Comey a "dirty cop" and a "crooked man" on Wednesday, one day after the Justice Department indicted him for allegedly threatening the president's life.
"People like Comey have created tremendous danger, I think, for politicians and others," he told reporters. "You know, Comey is a dirty cop. He's a very dirty cop. He cheated on the elections. He tried to help Hillary Clinton."
The charges stem from an incident last year in which Mr. Comey posted a photo on social media of seashells arranged to read "86 47," which critics said could be interpreted as a threat against the president.
"86" is a slang term meaning to "get rid of" someone or something, and Mr. Trump is the nation's 47th president.
Following the uproar, Mr. Comey deleted the post and said he was unaware of any violent connotation. "I didn't realize some folks associate those numbers with violence," he said at the time. "It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down."
President Trump said "86" was a term employed by the mob that clearly means to "kill" somebody.
"That's a mob term for "kill 'em," he told reporters. "The mob uses that term."
