3:28:30Now PlayingTonight Ali and I are going into the actual hearing testimony from the Aaron Spencer spoliation hearing — the words of Deputy McCranie, Detective McCain, Sergeant Lucas, Lieutenant Portale, and cybersecurity expert Brandon Purchase, under oath, on the record.
We've already broken down the April 20, 2026 motion to dismiss. Tonight you hear the testimony that motion is built on.
What the witnesses said:
• A 90-minute discrepancy over when the dash cam was even located
• Officers on scene told to turn off their body cameras — against Sheriff's Office policy
• Detective McCain admitting the camera sat in his office cabinet, in an untaped envelope, unlogged, for over a year
• McCain pulling the SD card and viewing it on his office computer instead of immediately sending it to the AG's Office like every other piece of digital evidence in this case
• McCain describing folders and video lengths the camera is physically incapable of producing — confirmed by the cybersecurity expert who actually examined it
• A "clerical error" in the evidence log
• The SD card never making it to the Attorney General's Office
Aaron Spencer is the Arkansas father charged with murder after killing Michael Fosler — the man he caught with his teenage daughter. The dash cam would have shown Fosler's custody of that child, his refusal to stop, his flight, and his aggressive exit from the truck. The State lost it. And tonight you'll hear, in their own words, how it happened.
