0:51Now PlayingIn this sobering reflection, Fr. David Gunter, MIC, reminds us of a truth we often forget: God is always with us. He hears every prayer. And if we remain faithful, He will never fail in His faithfulness to us.
But Scripture also gives us a warning.
In the Book of Revelation, we hear of a time of trial — when the beast is given power, when even the saints are tested, and when many are led astray. It is a stark reminder that this life is a battle, and not everyone chooses God.
Yet there is hope.
Those who belong to Christ are known. Their names are written in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain. This is not about fear — it’s about fidelity. It’s about perseverance. It’s about remaining with God no matter the cost.
The question is not whether God is faithful. He always is.
The question is whether we will be.
Stay close to God in prayer. Stay rooted in truth. Stay faithful in the midst of trials.
In the end, nothing matters more than this: Is your name written in the Book of Life?
