0:39Now PlayingIf you’re wondering where God is in your suffering — look at the crucifix. He is not distant. He is not indifferent. He is there, with you, suffering for you and with you.
If you’re wondering how much God loves you — look again. Not at words, not at feelings, but at the Cross. “God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” The crucifix is love made visible.
But the Cross is not only comfort — it is also a call. Our Lord is clear: If we refuse to acknowledge our sins, if we refuse to come to Him in repentance, we remain in them. The Cross demands a response.
Because the truth is simple and sobering: We cannot have the Resurrection without the Cross. We cannot have life without passing through death to self. “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
The world tells us to avoid suffering at all costs. Christ shows us that suffering, united to Him, becomes the very path to life.
So don’t turn away. Don’t look past it. Don’t reduce it to decoration.
Look at the crucifix. Stay there. Pray there.
Because if you want life — true life, eternal life — there is only one way:
Through the Cross.
