From there, the two went on to record various tracks together, and Royce says they recorded Bad Meets Evil tracks from the start.
While Royce and Em were close, things started to fall apart after Eminem signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath and Royce says that communication between them started to fall off. After their falling out, Royce said Em was caught being the mediator in his beef with Eminem's group, D12.
