In this clip, Rickey Bell started from the top detailing his upbringing in a house where he was the youngest of 11 children. He talked about knowing he wanted to be a singer as early as 8-years-old and how New Edition came to be. Rickey Bell also went into how wet behind the ears he and his group members were of the entire process of breaking into the music industry. He talked about getting signed but not entirely grasping what that meant from a business perspective.
Later on, Rickey Bell recalled the group going on tour with Rick James and confirmed that Rick was as crazy as advertised. He said that during times on tour when they would play fight, Rick James would be out there really swinging on New Edition when they were just 15.
