--------

The trial of mafia boss, Vincent "The Chin" Gigante, was a complex affair involving cooperating witnesses, recordings, and surveillance. Junior prosecutor Dan Dorsky described his experiences during the trial, explaining that it was built on testimonies from former mobsters, including the likes of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, Al D'Arco, and Pete Chiodo, each recounting their interactions with 'Chin.' Recordings of conversations about Gigante, such as those featuring "Fat Tony" Salerno, and FBI surveillance reports were also presented as evidence. Despite media skepticism of Gigante’s conviction, prosecutors remained confident, eventually securing a guilty verdict. Both Dan and his colleague Mike Campi had multiple direct dealings with Gravano, collecting valuable information from him that aided their cause. Notwithstanding, Mike expressed some doubts about Gravano's truthfulness during the trial.
