Yung Joc opened up about a dispute related to a past performance gig that had concerning implications. He recounts an encounter about a booking deal in L.A, where the promoter mismanaged the event and then blamed Joc for a failure on their part. The situation escalated later as the promoter knew the location of his accommodation and seemed to imply threats by revealing it, which made Joc fear for his safety. In the interest of avoiding trouble, Joc decided to return half the deposit. He warns of the importance of being mindful while interacting with people in the industry, emphasizing that potential threats could be hidden. He reported a later confrontation with the same individuals, but this time, Joc was prepared for any unexpected confrontations.
