During their encounter with the victim, an argument broke out, leading to the group returning with a firearm. Gunfire was exchanged, leaving the victim and Rosin, also known as Lil Jay, injured. After their arrests, the group faced murder charges— a fact Butta claims is unjust as they were charged with felony murder instead of a first-degree premeditated murder. He argues that the law often misconstrues cases, leading to incorrect charges, while highlighting the complexity and paradox of their situation.
