During his athletic career, he transferred to San Francisco State, getting the opportunity to play against the legendary Steve Nash. Despite initial challenges, Ben managed to effectively guard Nash, a memorable highlight in his sporting endeavors.

Post-college, Ben pursued fine arts and gained significant experience as Tia Carrere’s personal assistant. This role, although filled with menial tasks, serendipitously introduced him to a club promoter. Ben Baller’s DJ career took off unexpectedly when he was asked to substitute for a missing DJ at the famed Roxbury nightclub. His talent caught the attention of many, eventually leading to a pivotal moment when Denzel Washington facilitated his entry into larger DJ gigs, solidifying his place in the entertainment industry.
