Later in the interview, John Alite was joined by former Bonanno family enforcer Gene Borrello. The sitdown turned out to be the first interview for Borrello, who had just been released from prison. Borrello explained that he first started shooting people when he was 20, and ten years later, he went into prison for a 5 year bid and was given a second chance once he was released.
