Anthony Arillotta shared his insights on why Freddy Geas likely murdered notorious mobster Whitey Bulger. According to Arillotta, Geas thrived in the company of lunatics and killers, finding both camaraderie and identity in their presence. Unlike Arillotta, who distanced himself from murders to evade law enforcement scrutiny, Geas reveled in the dangerous lifestyle. Arillotta recounted numerous instances that showcased Geas’s reckless behavior, such as brazenly driving a convertible Corvette immediately after a murder, and singing about a buried body as they passed the gravesite. Arillotta concluded that Geas viewed killing Bulger as a way to solidify his reputation as a feared and notorious figure within the criminal underworld.
