Hailing from the Philippines, one of the world's most vulnerable places to climate change, Mitzi has seen firsthand the devastation that the climate crisis can wreak on a nation—but she's had enough. Mitzi is #SolvingIt by bravely fighting for a better and safer future, one without fear of floods, drought, food scarcity or super typhoons. Despite the dangers of being an activist in the Philippines, Mitzi co-founded Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines, which demands action and accountability from the government, provides typhoon relief to those who need it and centers the voices of Indigenous peoples and others who are most affected by the climate crisis.
