0:55Now PlayingCompatibility and complementarity are not the same thing.
Compatibility is about sharing the things that really matter: your values, your beliefs, your view of family, and the kind of life you want to build.
Complementarity is different. It means being with someone who brings qualities you don't have yourself.
The problem is that people tend to look for too much similarity: the same interests, tastes, or opinions. In other words, they look for themselves.
But a good match isn't someone who mirrors you. It's someone who shares your deepest values while being different enough to balance you, challenge you, and complete you.
What you should be looking for is enough compatibility and lots of complementarity.
