Labor And Delivery Nurse Is Supplying Masks To Hospitals To Help With Shortage

Marina is a labor and delivery nurse at a hospital in Southern California. With the shortage of personal protective equipment for people working on the frontlines in the hospital, she says she decided to take matters into her own hands.

“We got a little group together, and because some of the hospitals have no more masks, or have very limited supplies, like ours, we’re rationing them. We’re reusing them,” she says. “We started sewing something that will go over the N95 to kind of, help, extend the life of that.”
