Vice President Of New York State Nurses Association Has A Message For The Government

Thousands of people in New York have been infected with the coronavirus, and medical workers on the frontlines are sacrificing their own health to help patients and save lives. However, according to Anthony Ciampa, Vice President of the New York State Nurses Association, says supplies are running low, and there’s a shortage of workers.

“We are not getting tested. We are told, even with a known exposure, that we are to continue to come to work, and if we develop symptoms, then put on a mask and report it,” Ciampa tells Dr. Phil on Monday’s episode. “We are looking to the government to be laser-focused on the epicenters and send any and every resource available to us today. We have to be ahead of the virus, and currently, we’re behind the virus.”
