Two Iranian Women in ICE Detention Are Not, In Fact, Related to Qasem Soleimani, Documents Show

Two Iranian women currently being held in ICE detention are not related to Qasem Soleimani, according to documents reviewed by Drop Site.

The mother and daughter were detained after far-right activist Laura Loomer claimed the women were connected to the late Iranian military commander.

Birth certificates, identification records, a family will, and other official documents show no familial link between the women and Soleimani or his extended family.
