BREAKING: Prime Suspect Stephen Sterns Doesn’t Show Up for Arraignment in Madeline Soto Case

Today, April 24th, 2024 - That #Florida #courtroom had to be quiet as a mouse today. Prime suspect Stephen Sterns was to make his first appearance for the 60+ charges against him for crimes against Madeline Soto. Sterns, the former boyfriend/husband of Madeline’s mother, Jenifer.

Stephen Sterns is a no show in Court Today

The question on everyone’s mind: Will Sterns be directly charged with Madeline’s murder? The investigation continues, and we will be here to bring you the latest in the quest for justice for Maddie

To recap, Madeline Soto vanished on February 26, 2024. Surveillance footage captured Sterns disposing of items in a dumpster near their apartment complex. Among the discarded belongings were Madeline’s backpack and school laptop. Authorities believe Madeline was already deceased at that time. Her lifeless body was later discovered in the woods off Old Hickory Tree Road in Osceola County.

Sterns now faces that include sexual battery of a child, lewd and lascivious molestation, and possession of child sexual abuse material. The severity of these charges could lead to life imprisonment or even the death penalty.

In a surprising twist, Sterns waived his arraignment, initially scheduled for today's pre-trial hearing, April 24th, with a trial expected on May 13th. However, with the change today, the pre-trial will be in July, 10th 2024, with a trial date scheduled for August 19th. 2024
