Today, April 24, 2024, a 5th person was arrested in connection with the murders of Kansas moms Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley.

Paul Grice arrested in the Kansas Moms case

RECAP - Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, went missing on March 30 while on their way from Kansas moms to pick up Butler’s children from a birthday party in nearby Oklahoma Their remains were found on April 14, 2024, after having last been seen together in a vehicle that was later found abandoned by the highway in a rural part of Texas County. Before this arrest, four other individuals had already been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the women’s deaths: Tad Bert Cullum, Tifany Machel Adams, Cole Earl Twombly, and Cora Twombly. All five suspects are believed to belong to an anti-government group called Godsmisfits According to an unsealed affidavit, Adams is the paternal grandmother of Butler’s children, and the two were involved in a custody battle. The group allegedly attempted to kill Butler before, as reported by a teenage witness who spoke to investigators. A judge recently entered not-guilty pleas for all four initial suspects and denied them bond. Family members of the deceased were present at the courthouse to confront Butler and Kelley’s alleged killers. Veronica Butler’s younger brother, Bryson Butler, expressed hope that justice would be served
