5:05Now PlayingPolice in Spain's Catalonia region say they are hunting for former separatist leader Carles Puigdemont after he returned to Spain for the first time in seven years.
Puigdemont spoke to a crowd of thousands of followers in the regional capital Barcelona. He returned to Spain after spending seven years in exile on the same day that a new Catalan regional government is to be sworn in. Puigdemont's party are not part of the new government. Spain's parliament approved a law to give amnesty to Puigdemont but the Supreme Court says an embezzlement charge against him still stands.
