Today, it represents the interests of over 100 Jewish communities, counting around 100,000 members, in politics, society, and Jewish organizations. DW spoke with the president of the Central Council of Jews, Josef Schuster, about antisemitism, criticism toward Israel's government, and Jewish life in Germany.
