1:26Now PlayingIDAHO FALLS -- VO: The Sandwich Tree has been at its location on 17th street for almost 30 years. Customers who’ve been loyal to the shop can appreciate that much hasn’t been altered on the menu.
SOT: “What works we don’t want to change. If anything we’ll maybe move to more gluten free options. We are just keeping things the same as we can,” Chapple says.
VO: Everything at the Sandwich Tree is fresh. Their meats, cheeses, and vegetables are all sliced in house. When customers come in they order off of the hanging blue menu board, or they can customize their own creation.
SOT: “It tastes real. It doesn't taste manufactured like some places do,” customer Jessie Russel said.
VO: Chappel says the number one seller is the award winning Angel special. She says it came about when she was simply making her husband a sandwich.
VO: Chappel says they love their customers and the Sandwich Tree may even branch out and open other spots.
SOT: “We are excited to still be here, and thank our customers,” Angel Chapple said.
