SOT: “I use it about once a week,” customer Dakota Merrill says.
VO: Get Me That Delivery is an online service that will deliver anything that can fit in a car to its customers.
SOT: “I like to order McDonalds and cheap stuff a lot because, I’m on that college budget,” Merrill says.
VO: Owners Taylor and Cagney Merrill started Get Me That in 2014, and was originally called Iceburg Delivery.
SOT: “People seem to be pretty receptive to it,” Runner Kenneth Pinkerton says.
VO: Making an order on Get Me That’s site is pretty simple. All customers have to do is fill out a form online, and their order is ready to go
SOT: “They like the idea that they can just go online and place an order and a few minutes later that have whatever they wanted at their door.”
Get Me That makes stops in Rexburg and surrounding areas. It promises orders in less than 35 minutes.
SOT: “I run grocery, or fast food or food orders from any place in the Rexburg area, and even Big Juds, just outside of Rexburg,” Pinkerton said. “(Or) toilet paper, any type of dishes or cookware that they may need, things like that,” Pinkerton said.
VO: Before you start getting excited let’s take a step back. Get Me That Runners can’t deliver EVERYTHING.
SOTL “We don’t deliver any type of controlled substance, so anything tobacco, alcohol, wine, liquor, things like that we won’t do. Just a liability issue on our part,” Pinkerton said.
VO: Regardless, they’re still excited to help you out.
SOT: “One of the things I like the best is to be able to help someone out and see them smile when I do a good job,” Pinkerton said.
