3:37Now PlayingIDAHO FALLS — Hope Larson couldn’t hold back the tears when the EastIdahoNews.com elves showed up at her door.
Secret Santa learned about Hope from the owner of the Austin Kade Academy where Hope studied cosmetology.
After Hope’s mother died a few years ago, she went to court and fought to gain custody of her younger siblings. She was in her early 20’s and, while others in her age group were partying or traveling, she was going to beauty school and raising her siblings.
Secret Santa and his wife decided to surprise Hope with a $5,000 and $2,000 in gift cards.
Hope lost it when she was given the money and EastIdahoNews.com learned that after cashing her check, she immediately went to the ‘angel tree’ in the lobby of the bank and selected a few children to provide Christmas to this season.
