1:12Now PlayingRIGBY-- A local motorsports apparel company is seizing opportunities to give back and to get its customers involved.
KLIM headquarters in Rigby is reaching out to the community for help to raise funds for children in war torn circumstances.
"The intent of the fundraiser is to help children in need who have been displaced by war in Syria," Global Logistics Manager, Joseph Miller said."The motivation for this fundraiser is to get the community involved, our customers, our employees."
The initiative is being pushed through a new company program called KLIM Kares. KLIM Kares was launched this year to excite KLIM employees as well as the community about giving back.
“We’re striving to raise $5,000 which should substantially help with food, with clothing, sleeping gear, things of that nature that they need at this time,” Miller said.
