EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Smith Honda in Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
We recently received an email about an employee at a tractor store who helped a woman in need. It said:
I was down the road needing help with my wood splitter hoses and the first business I went to couldn't help me. I went to Tractor Sales in Idaho Falls, my dad’s old shop, knowing one person still worked there years after my dad. That would be Jason Caldwell. I arrived and explained my dad was in the hospital and I needed help with the hydraulic hoses and the situation I was in and asked if he could help. Jason was more than happy to stop what he was doing and help me out taking my hoses off and putting new ones on as well as explaining how the system works and other things about it. He went above and beyond his normal duties and helped me out when I needed it the most this day in particular. This was not his normal job nor did he charge me for his help. I just happened to stop in and ask for help on a totally different machine. He was so helpful and kind and generous and I feel he should be recognized as going above and beyond when he didn’t have to.
We were able to track Jason down and surprise him for Feel Good Friday. Check out the video in the player above!
