Recently, the actress opened up about the 2020-COVID19 lockdown phase when she took up the role of nurse again at a BMC hospital in Mumbai to help patients. After serving in the COVID ICU for a year, unfortunately Shikha herself became a victim of the deadly virus, was left paralysed and also got a brain stroke later. During her treatment, she happened to gain a lot of weight due to the medicines/steroids given to her. However, Shikha never gave up on her dream of acting in films and is back in one of the best shapes after 2 years of recovery. Her physical transformation has been unbelievable especially after the painful journey she went through. A paparazzo has shared her inspiring story on social media and several netizens have been showering praises on Shikha. A user commented, ‘Ye hoti hai inspiring stories’, while another wrote ‘This is an inspiration for others who are struggling or fighting with problems.
