From action sequences to songs and storyline, the film has garnered immense appreciation and praise from viewers. Speaking about its collection, on day 11, the action-packed flick has managed to earn Rs 36.50 crore, totaling an impressive Rs 477.28 crore domestically. However, it failed to break Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' record. A sequel to the 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', minted Rs. 38.9 crore on its second Sunday of its release. Meanwhile, with no big releases lined up in the near future, 'Jawan', which is just a few digits short of the Rs 500 crore mark, is expected to make a hefty amount at the box office, speculatively all set to make and break many more records. Helmed by Atlee, 'Jawan' is a high-octane action thriller that outlines the emotional journey of a man, who is set to rectify the wrongs in society. Apart from SRK, the film stars Nayanthara in the lead role, Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, and Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani in pivotal roles.
