1:44Now PlayingActress-politician Sayantika Banerjee, who was shooting in Bangladesh for her upcoming film 'Chayabaj', recently returned to Kolkata after reportedly getting harassed by a young choreographer. Yes. Sayantika not only faced harassment due to mismanagement by the producer, Manirul Islam, but she also faced many other technical issues. In her interview with Anandabazar online, the actress said, 'Initially, a teacher came for the dance shooting, but he left because of monetary issues. Then a young boy called Michael came, who, without my consent, held my hand, and I stopped him in front of everyone.' She also refuted allegations of not completing the shoot. 'I am a professional artist and can't think of doing such things. Time and again, I tried to contact the producer regarding some technical issues but did not get any response. He has no planning and no management.' The actress also added that before returning to India, she even waited to hear from the producer, however, received no solution. Sayantika further expressed that she will be resuming work only after the management issues are fixed and her problems are considered.
