Sunny Deol's son Rajveer Deol recently marked his Bollywood debut with the film 'Dono'. Recently, in an interview with Brut India, the 'Gadar' actor opened up about Rajveer's struggle with dyslexia during his school days. Sunny said, 'He was dyslexic, so the issues used to be difficult in school. But we fortunately knew what it was and tackled it pretty well.' Dharmendra's son added, 'That was the time Rajveer had issues with the kids at school. You know how kids are and children have to handle that themselves. So, he has been focused, determined and did not take any of his shortcomings seriously.' While praising and commending his younger son for not letting dyslexia shape his life, Sunny also mentioned, 'Rajveer was a very naughty boy. He was full of life and he had his way of overcoming the shortcomings of his life. I was proud of him the way he tackled everything in school.' Notably, Sunny also struggled with dyslexia in his childhood. Earlier, in a conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, the actor shared that as a child, he was often slapped and called names for being unable to read and study properly. He also added that even now, when asked to use a teleprompter for public speeches, he refuses and asks for a briefing instead. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
