All across the south Republican governors have implied [inaudible] bands on mask mandates. Now this isn't news to you. I have talked about this at length. I'm going to continue to talk about it because lives are in danger because of these things decisions. But what we're watching happen in states like Texas and Florida is truly remarkable. And I'm not talking about the spike in COVID cases. I am talking about
Judges county officials, mayors school
Boards, all across both states, standing up to these tyrannical, clearly pro COVID governors and implementing mask mandates consequences. Be damned. They're gonna protect their citizens. Now over here in Florida, obviously, uh, uh, our governor, Ron DeSantis has threatened to withhold funding from schools that have masked mandates to withhold salaries from administrators who implement mask mandates.
And they're saying, we don't care
Do your worst to them because obviously we know this is going to be challenged in court and you can't by the way, with withhold funding from these groups for political reasons, which is what the mass bands are. So, uh, yeah, go ahead and do what you need to do. These school districts are telling him because we ain't backing down now over in Texas, which Texas, this is kind of, you know, not as far along as Florida, but they're trying to get there.
You had Greg Abbott
Band mask mandates, and then you had Dallas, you know, one of the largest cities in Texas come out and say, we're not doing
That. We're going to let our school districts implement mask mandates if they so choose
That's what's going to happen. And a judge actually reaffirmed this, that yes, they do have the authority to do this. And you do not Abbott have the authority
To shut them down. And the judge
Went a step further and said, you know what? We can also require daycares childcare facilities of all kinds to have mass mandates to these governors. And it's not just Abbott and DeSantis. You also have Hutchinson over in, uh, Arkansas.
They
Thought they were the ultimate Supreme leaders and they wanted to flex their power. And they're getting shot down. People are standing
Up to them and
Folks, this is what it looks like. This is what a real resistance looks like
Standing
Up against these tyrannical idiots and saying, we're not going to listen to you because your putting our lives in danger. We're not going to do this anymore. We're not going to back down. We're not going to bow down. We're to do what we have to do to protect everybody that we can. And you can threaten us all you want, we'll take your to court. We're not afraid of that. And when they have taken them to court so far, they've been winning. There's another lawsuit going on from parents in the state of Florida, actually challenging [inaudible] ban on mask mandates, arguing that it obviously puts children going to school now, an imminent danger. Sure. And I think the most important part, the, the big thing we've got to remember about all of this is that these Republican governors did this banned these mask mandates
To pander, to the dumbest
Residents in their states, the smallest little population who say we don't want mass mandates because the majority of the country is fine with it. But their parents to this tiny little group of idiots, putting everybody else's lives in danger, watching as their hospitals in both Florida and axis,
Fill up to
The point where they are having to turn people away at the emergency room. On Thursday morning, I received word that the one hospital we have in my city here is filled and they have started turning people away at the emergency room. Texas has been under that, uh, situation [inaudible]
For over a week. Now
This is unsustainable and these governors have taken the side of COVID. So thank God that these local leaders have more sense than these idiot Republicans that keep getting elected to these positions of powers, voter, uh, voters. Remember this, remember who protected you and remember who was willing to let you die? The next time you go to that voting booth.
