War Hungry Republicans Want To Impeach Biden For Withdrawing From Afghanistan

More Republicans are beginning to jump on the impeachment bandwagon started by Marjorie Taylor Greene, and several have now said that President Biden (and his entire cabinet) should either resign en masse or face impeachment. Biden hasn't committed any crimes, but that isn't going to stop the Republicans from claiming that his actions were illegal and should be punished. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Earlier this past week, Marjorie Taylor green was getting angry at her fellow Republicans for not getting in line with her attempts to impeach Joe Biden. But then following the terror attack in Afghanistan at the Kabul airport on Thursday, several other Republicans decided, you know what may be Marjorie Taylor. Green's not so crazy after all. And they are either joining in calling for his impeachment or calling for him and literally his entire cabinet to resign the latest individuals to join in are Josh Hawley, Marsha Blackburn, and Lindsay Graham three major warmongers. And of course they're all mad that Joe Biden made the right decision and pulled us out of Afghanistan. And he's sticking with that decision. So before I get into their statements, let me just point something out here. In the last 12 months, there have been 25 different terrorist attacks acts in Afghanistan. Yes.

Americans have died in some of those other attacks as well. Just like, unfortunately we had several service members. I think a dozen of them, uh, die on Thursday and that's horrible. I mean, don't get me wrong. That is terrible. We don't ever want something like that to happen. But again, there were 24 other terrorist attacks averaging two per month in the last year. And nobody said a word, nobody cared. Nobody even noticed. But now that these Republicans think they can use it for their political advantage, oh, suddenly we got to do something about the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. You didn't care about them for decades. You're only acting concerned about it now because you think it benefits you politically. So let's get into their statements. This is what Josh Holly said in a statement issued by his office. Biden is now overseeing the deadliest day for us troops in Afghanistan and over a decade.

And the crisis grows worse. By the hour, we must reject the false hood pedal by a feckless president that this was the only option for withdrawal. This is the product of Joe Biden's catastrophic failure of leadership. It is now painfully clear that he has neither the will nor the capacity to lead. He must resign. Cool. And she said, uh, should all resign or face impeachment and removal from office Lindsey Graham speaking to Newsmax on Tuesday of this past week, uh, said Biden should be impeached. And then he added, uh, that he had abandoned thousands of Afghans who fought with us and he's going to abandon some American citizens because he capitulated to the Taliban to a 31 August deadline.

Graham wants him impeached. Blackburn wants him impeached. Holly just thinks he should resign right now. Marjorie Taylor green has the articles of impeachment ready. And I would love to read them because I want to know what high crimes and misdemeanors were committed. Because just because you don't like the decision, just because the decision was messy, that doesn't make it illegal.

Of this Biden administration, much like we saw with Obama where Republicans tried several dozen times to impeach him throughout the course of eight years, there were several dozen times they were trying to impeach him. And now we're just going to live through the same
