The song is just as bad as you'd expect, but that didn't stop Matt Gaetz from tweeting it out to his supporters and claiming that it will be a future #1 hit. A duo of conservative rappers have released a new song, new song titled simply Matt gates. And in the song they claim that Matt Gaetz is somehow the chosen one now chosen for what we don't exactly know, but these two conservative rappers, uh, for Gido hello in J 360, sure. Seemed to think that Matt gates is in fact chosen for something. And at the risk of sounding like Ben Shapiro, when he read rap lyrics on his show, I'm going to read you these lyrics to this song. I mean, you know, what kind of lyrical genius came up with that? Not not exactly, you know, M and M style wrapping and rhyming, but you know, Hey start war star war. Sure. You, you tried guys. I mean, I guess that's the best I can say is you tried, but the chosen one for what? Right. What has he chosen to do? Go to jail hopefully. And that's what some of us over here in his district are actually hoping happens. The video that they put out, by the way, which was this past Monday included footage of Matt gates that they filmed apparently at CPAC in February of this year.

So he, he was a technically involved in it, but his spokesperson Joel Valdez, uh, did say the Congressman is a big fan of the song, but also added Congressman gates as a big fan of this future. Number one hit though he can't claim credit for its conception composition or lyrics gates, of course also tweeted out a link to the video and again, referred to it as a, a future. Number one hit, um, Tamer your expectations a little bit there, Mattie, uh, don't think it's gonna happen, but I am more concerned about what is either chosen. One for, he didn't really elaborate into that. So maybe, maybe we'll get a follow up. Matt gates part two, where they tell us what he was exactly chosen for. The thing that strikes me as the sickest of all of this, obviously is this hero worship. I hate it.

Grow the hell up. Everybody's got problems. Nobody is perfect. Stop acting like anybody is above any kind of critic. That's what these Trumpers do. And of course it drives me crazy. We had a lot of the, you know, Hillary people in 2016 acted that way. Bernie Sanders people acted that way. The Biden people acted that way. The Harris people, the Kay hive, they still act that way. Guys wake up. Nobody is perfect. Everybody makes aches and we should do our jobs and call them out. We shouldn't be writing love songs to them that don't even rhyme or make sense. But apparently that's what we've come to in American politics today. And I gotta tell you, it's a truly cringeworthy moment to be in this business.
