Lauren Boebert Tells Liberals To 'Build Your Own Florida' If They Don't Like DeSantis

Embattled Republican lawmaker Lauren Boebert has a message for people who aren't happy with the oppression happening in Florida: Go build your own state. Lauren Boebert thinks that if you're not happy with the laws of a state or territory here in the United States, then you should just pack up your crap. And I guess, go start your own state. Maybe, maybe go start your own country. I, I don't know exactly how that works, but that is what she said to folks on Twitter who are unhappy with the a so-called don't say gay bill here in the state of Florida. She sent out a message to them that says, if you don't like Florida's laws, protecting kids from doing irreversible damage to their bodies, then build your own Florida.

Okay. All right. Lot, lot to unpack there. Um, this of course, as I said, was taught about Florida's don't say gay legislation that that has no bearing whatsoever on what people can do to their bodies. This is not Lauren. The legislation out of places like Texas that says you cannot give gender affirming care to youth. Even if they want it. Even if the parents are supportive, even if the doctors say they should get it, uh, Texas is the place that banned that Lauren, Texas was, was the correct answer there. The legislation you were referring to actually says, you cannot have discussions about sexual orientation or sexual identity in, uh, younger grades. Which of course, wasn't a thing that was happening. But you know, now we got legislation saying, you can't do it. You, even though you were already not doing it here in the state of Florida. So you got your wires crossed a little bit, uh, you know, to be expected. You're you're not very bright. And then you said that go build your own Florida.

I, I would like for you, uh Bobert to elaborate on that, like how do we do that? Where do do it, right? Um, cuz if you have suggestions, I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm open to it. Cuz I gotta tell you living down here in this like increasingly red state sucks. Like it, it, it sucks really, really bad and I'm about sick and tired of it.
