The people that stormed the Capitol on January 6th clearly weren't the smartest, and we're learning more and more with each passing week about how incomepetent they all were as criminals. The latest case involves a 71-year old man who beat police officers with a flagpole, and he was left with no choice but to plead guilty after police found his day planner that listed EVERYTHING he did while storming the Capitol. Farron Cousins discusses these geniuses and how they all keep getting caught.

Let me start this out by saying, I, in no way, shape or form condone the committing of crimes. And I do not ever encourage anyone to commit crimes. Please do not commit crimes, but if you're gonna commit crimes, don't write it down. And more importantly, then don't it down. Don't keep a detailed journal of the exact times that you were committing the crimes. Because as we saw this week from one of the capital riots, a 71 year old man, he kept a detailed journal. Basically it was his day planner and he wrote down all of the times of all of the crimes that he committed while he was storming the capital on January 6th, he pleaded guilty. Uh, he also beat the hell outta police officers with a metal flag pole. He could be facing three to four years in prison. He will be sentenced for some reason in August.

Hmm. I, I don't know. I mean, he pleaded guilty kind of seems like the thing you could, uh, just sat there an extra five minutes, determining the sentence and sent him to prison. But you know, I'm not in charge of the legal system here. So he gets to spend a nice summer with his family before going away for several years at the age of 71. So here's the thing, as I said, the guy kept a detailed journal of all the times in all the crimes he committed. Um, and I'm gonna read it in just a second, but what the FBI was able to do, the FBI matched up their, um, cameras, their camera footage of the people of the Capitol with this dude's timestamp that he put in his journal. And so he is like 11 o'clock I'm here. And they're like, oh yeah, you were, we actually matched 'em all up.

He admitted the day planner was his. So let me read what his planner said. Man is Howard Richardson said Richardson wrote that he parked at 11:00 AM, was at the front of the Capitol building at 12:15 PM. Gates were breached. He said at 1:00 PM, moving up to steps at one 30 to 1:45 PM, got pepper sprayed at 2:00 PM and then started to leave at 3:30 PM. So he actually hung around for an extra hour and a half after being pepper sprayed. And he wrote it all down. Like he actually has got pepper sprayed at 2:00 PM in his journal.

Again, folks, I don't want anybody to go out there and commit crimes, but if you do, don't do this, that's so ridiculous. Honestly, it's like pulled up to bank at 11:00 AM. Went up to teller, demanded money, 1105 got money. 11, 15 used getaway car to go to secret hideout 1130 laughed maniacally at 1145 to 1147. what did you think was gonna happen? What did you think was going to happen? I would love for them to release the actual photos of this day planner. And I guess the question I have too is like, okay, did he just go back home and write this down? Or was he writing it like, as he's doing these crimes, like I'm walking up the Capitol steps, ah, God pepper sprayed at 2:00 PM. Oh my God. What an idiot. These truly folks truly are some of the dumbest people we have ever seen. And of course, yeah. I mean the guy's 71 years old, he could be sent to prison for three to four years. Healthcare in prison is unfortunately very lacking. Like this guy with his decision to do this, he could spend his remaining years in prison. And of course that part's not funny. The fact that he beat a police officer with a men, a flag pole. That's not funny. The fact that he's so hilariously incompetent that his own journal got him sent to prison. That is pretty dang funny.
