On Monday, the US Supreme Court REJECTED MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's attempt to get the defamation lawsuit filed against him by Dominion Voting Systems dismissed. This means that Lindell has no choice but to go to trial against the company, unless he can come up with a massive settlement offer in the near future. This is also going to force Lindell to cooperate with discovery requests, as reports have suggested that he stopped cooperating months ago. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Well, folks, MyPillow CEO Mike Linde, was dealt the biggest legal blow that he has been dealt so far. Yesterday when the United States Supreme Court rejected his case, Mike Linde had appealed all the way to the Supreme Court. Apparently, I didn't even know it was go to the Supreme Court, but he appealed this defamation lawsuit filed against him by Dominion Voting Systems all the way up to the Supreme Court trying to get it dismissed. And yesterday that Supreme Court said, No, no, Mike, we're not dismissing it. Where sticking, of course, with the lower court's decision, which is what it means when the Supreme Court rejects something, they don't have to say a word other than no. So that means the lower court's decision stands. And the lower court decided that yes, Mike, you will be going on trial for Defaming Dominion Voting Systems. There is now literally nothing that Mike Linde can do to stop that lawsuit and trial from moving forward.

But that's actually not true though, because Mike Linde actually does have one legal option left to avoid having to go to trial. He could settle, he could cough up the 1.3 billion that Dominion Voting Systems is seeking, and then he wouldn't have to go to trial. Now, obviously, Michellin Dell does not have 1.3 billion. He has 0.3 billion according to the internet, which could be off by a couple hundred million dollars. The internet also says that I have a million dollars, which I can promise you, I don't even have anything close to that, not even when you add up all of my assets. So who knows how much the guy really has, but either way, definitely not 1.3 billion. So he would have to basically give up his entire company and every dollar he's ever made in order to come up with a figure that Dominion might consider accepting as part of a settlement.

But I don't think he'd be able to come up with enough. I don't even think if he had 1.3 billion that Dominion would accept it at this point. Because to me, it's very obvious that Dominion voting systems is not necessarily after the money, right? I think Dominion wants actual justice. I think they want these people punished, and that's good, right? Like, I'm not saying that like it's a bad thing. I'm saying that like, Hey, that's the best way to do this because it's not about the money. Maybe it is, I don't know. I don't work for Dominion, but I would like to think that they care more about having these people pay a political price, pay a public price for the lies that they have been spreading about this company. And of course, when I say these people, I'm not just talking about Mike

Landell because the other two people being sued as individuals, in addition to Fox News, are Sid Powell and Rudy Giuliani. They need to be exposed. They need the public needs to see that these people are in fact, absolute liars because you just might be able to change a couple people's minds out there, right? Some of the true believers who do think that Mike Linde holds the exclusive keys to the truth. So even if you only change a couple minds, at least you're changing a couple minds by exposing these people, by letting the trial play out. That's what needs to happen. But unfortunately, that trial may be at least a year off, possibly even two years out, and we won't know, obviously until the conclusion. But this rejection by the United States Supreme Court leaves Michellin Dell with no other legal options. The trial is moving forward, and because we're sticking with the lower court's decision on this one, if Mike Linde does not begin, uh, cooperating with the discovery process, uh, he could find himself in contempt and he could, could be thrown in jail if he continues to not cooperate. And that is based on previous reports in the media saying that Mike Lindall stopped cooperating with the discovery process many, many months ago. Lindela is screwed. And that Supreme Court that he swove for the longest time was gonna save him, wanted nothing to do with him.
