Racist Republican Alabama Councilman ARRESTED After Punching Black Mayor

A Republican politician from Tarrant, Alabama was arrested this week after getting into a heated argument with Tarrant's mayor outside a meeting, where he allegedly used racial slurs against the black mayor before punching him in the face. A racist Alabama councilman from the city of Tarrant has been arrested this week after he punched in the face the mayor of the town following a council meeting. The mayor, of course, is a black man, and the man who punched him, the council member Republican Tommy Bryant, actually has a history of using racist slurs. So we're gonna show you the video right now. This is from tmz. Uh, there's no sound. It's surveillance video. So here's the video and I'm gonna tell you what's happening. Take a look. As you can see right now, you got Mayor Newton, Councilman Bryant. Councilman Bryant standing at his car, obviously talking to another individual. Mayor walks up, starts conversing. Doesn't look like anything bad, but according to the report, uh, witnesses say Bryant used racial slurs during the incident, which came after he challenged the mayor who was black to step down during a heated exchange during the city council meeting.

So they'd been getting into it earlier in the evening, during the city council meeting, another woman walks up another ma, uh, another woman, excuse me, uh, witnesses who see what's happening here. They're just, Hey, how's it going? Oh, and he punched them right in the face. That's what did it right there. He gets up. kind of seems like he wants to go, but, uh, here, of course we have an officer. So everything immediately basically gets handled without the mayor having to throw a punch of his own again. That man is named Tommy Bryant. He is a city councilman for the city of Tarrant, Alabama, um, in Jefferson County. He has now been charged with third degree assault. He was arrested. This again happened Monday evening, as you can see in the video still. Uh, he was immediately put into handcuffs and taken away for punching this mayor. Now, here's the thing.

In July of 2021, this man, Tommy Bryant at a city council meeting, used the N word and, and not while trying to describe somebody else using it, he actually asked, asked the question, Do we have a house n word here tonight? He used it as a racial slur, as if it's just part of his regular vernacular and kind of seems like it might be. He was asked, of course, by the lieutenant Governor at the time, July of 2021. So just last summer, he was asked to step down, get off the city council. We can't have this here in the state of Alabama. Again, Lieutenant governor is a Republican as well. The Democratic Party of Alabama also asked the man to step down. The Republican party of Alabama, however, said, Oh, we don't condone this, and did not ask him to step down. Still on the city council, did not step down, and at the time of the N-word incident said he's not gonna step down. In fact, he's actually thinking about running from mayor. Well, I would think that those hopes of being mayor were dashed this past Monday evening when the son of a was put in handcuffs and hauled away. This man, based on what I can see here in his history, based on what we just saw in that video, is clearly a racist. Again, the witnesses who were there said that yes, racial language was flowing out of his mouth right before he punched the mayor, who is again black. This is disgusting, and this is Republican politics. In 2022, this is who they are, and when they show you who they are, believe them.
