Republican representative Jim Jordan this week, for some reason outta nowhere, decided to get on Twitter and try to defend Donald Trump, of course, from his indictments. And Jim Jordan's attempt, like every other attempt, Jim Jordan has launched this year to protect Donald Trump backfired hilariously on him. Here's what happened. Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the man who has been working overtime to try to put pressure on the DOJ to not investigate Donald Trump. And he is again, failed at every attempt and it's hilarious. But he got on Twitter, and this is what he said. Remember, if the FBI can do it to a presidential candidate, they can do it to you too. So let that be a lesson out there to everybody hoarding classified documents next to your toilet. You know, if they can do it to Trump, they'll do it to you too for having classified information in your bathroom.

Now, Twitter users, of course, were very quick to mock Jim Jordan for such a stupid statement. Uh, many of them agreed with it and said, yeah, that's the point. Like, that's what the justice system should be. It doesn't matter if you're a presidential candidate or a regular person. If you break the law, you should be held accountable. So either people were laughing at him or agreeing with him, but not because, oh no, they're coming after me. But because justice should be blind and not just blind to, you know, race, ethnicity, sexuality, it should be blind to your status. Something that doesn't happen very often in our justice system, but hey, it's kind of happening right now. But this is what gets me about this statement. Trump has made similar statements. Trump Junior has made similar statements. Matt Gaetz made these statements when he was under investigation because it all comes back to this one theory that Republicans are desperately trying to push on their base.

And that is they're coming after me because they wanna come after you. But I'm in the way as if every MAGA supporter out there is also hoarding classified documents. But these idiots, and that's what they are, folks, they're idiots. These are genuinely stupid people. The, the hardcore MAGA folks, uh, not a brain cell to share between the two of them. So they're stupid people and they believe it because a lot of these folks are already, the anti-government government is horrible. Government's coming for our guns types. They do believe that the government is coming after them. And because of that, they do believe that people like Trump or Matt Gaetz, or even Jim Jordan are the only ones who can protect them because they live in this constant state of paranoid

Delusion. I mean, it's a psychosis that these people are suffering from a mass shared psychosis. They, they need mental health. They don't need Donald Trump to help them. They need licensed PhD psychiatrists to get them into a safe location and start figuring out what's going on with their brains. Hell, they may even need, you know, cat scans to see what's happening in their heads because something ain't right. But that's why people like Jim Jordan do this because even though Jim Jordan got humiliated on social media by making this statement, there were still plenty of, you know, the diehard MAGA freaks that believe it. They're right. They're like, oh my God, he's right. They came after Trump so they can come after me. No, no, no, they're not Folks, if you know a MAGA supporter, if you know anybody that's hiding a Make America great again hat in their closet, or even proudly wearing it down the street, take some time to ask them what that even means.

Like, what does it mean when Trump says they want to come after you? Like, what would they be coming after you for? What illegal thing have you done that's gonna make authorities show up at your door? Make them start thinking critically about these things. And if they start thinking critically, and maybe they'll kind of realize like, wait a minute, that, I guess that is kind of weird. Like, I haven't done anything illegal, so why would they come for me? Exactly. Make 'em think about it, and then maybe we can put an end to this idiotic talking point from people like Jim Jordan.
